I wrote a bunch of code for a KIM-1 in the mid-80s because it was being used to control an industrial machine.

The KIM-1 was the Raspberry Pi of the late 1970s. I spent a lot of time using them in little automation projects while in college. There was no operating system involved at all; everything from the reset vector on up was my code.


(author) WDC sells modern 6502 SBCs which I've got to try out, but the KIM-1 is somehow more appealing, especially with the onboard hex keypad.
