I think at this point they have eroded enough brand trust it would be difficult to recover from. I'm not hyper-vigilant in this area, but I can say with confidence I have absolutely no expectation to do anything related to ASUS hardware for any of my upcoming tech purchases. That's a decision that will likely affect my purchasing for the next 5 years since I don't often re-build my PC.
