yoo what's up guys. i'm a senior in hs and founder at flywheel - an app that lets you create custom, pretty leaderboards in minutes.
tbh it's kind of a hassle to make a leaderboard whether you're a game dev or a hackathon organizer - so i built this tool to make it easy.
currently you can only create a leaderboard through your dashboard and instantly get a live link you can share with people you want to join your leaderboard - but users are asking for an api that they can hit to create the leaderboard component and render it in their own frontends. this would also allow the leaderboards to be a lot more customizable and modular.
i'm building the api right now and working w/ a couple startups to test it for their leaderboards!
try it out and lmk what you think - i launched v1 of this a couple months ago at founder's inc in san francisco and have been iterating ever since (product is very different now lol).
what i really want to know is how badly this is needed. are the pain points of creating a leaderboard actually that acute?
