I'm working on a project to increase the supply of IPv4 addresses, and people often complain that attempting to do so undermines confidence in (or, allegedly, the pressure to adopt) IPv6, thereby harming the IPv6 transition.
I don't think we could possibly be anywhere near the top of the things harming the transition when we regularly encounter people actively encouraging others not to use IPv6 for either security or convenience reasons!
