This seems like a narrative looking for an article. Also it was a discord server, which isn't inside a video game.

It's an old narrative to justify mass surveillance even in the most irrelevant of places. I remember when the FBI said that Al-Qaeda was communicating through video games to stage terror attacks, which was obviously a load of steaming bullshit.
