Ask HN: Is AWS suddenly blocking all ping requests?

I can no longer ping any of my 23 instances on AWS in ap-southeast-2 from Telstra/Optus. Anyone else noticed anything similar?

I can ping my aws hosts from a VPC on a different hosting company, so it's unlikely to be all of AWS.

Tried the Telstra and Vocus Looking Glass services - both can ping my AWS servers.
