Damn right. I used to moderate a medium-sized subreddit... Readers don't imagine the amount of shit mods must shovel out the way to keep the place sane - and even that feels like recreation compared to dealing with abusive users.

I think this question was nosy and rude. It's perfectly fine to discuss anonymized salaries, or aggregate salaries stats, or volunteer your own (after all, where else can we discuss that?), but why would you want to pry into a specific person's life, especially since he's basically doing public service for all of us here?
