Twitter Birdwatch (a.k.a Community Notes) takes a community-driven approach to addressing misinformation and bias on the platform while still enabling free speech. Birdwatch uses a bridging-based ranking system to show helpful notes from regular Twitter users who tend to disagree, rather than relying on majority rule or popularity. This allows the added context to benefit a wider audience.
I'm curious, what important applications or problems would benefit from a Birdwatch-like approach that uses bridging-based ranking? Or... if you could have Birdwatch for X what would it be?
