100% agree but wow is there resistance on the left to this idea. You try and talk about this and all you hear back is "NO! Wind and Solar!"

And no idea that wind and solar need impossibly huge batteries to completely displace polluting alternatives; otherwise you need nuclear.

50TWh of batteries for cars is perfectly achievable but 10TWh of storage for grid is impossibly huge?

Roughly the same amount of battery you need to make any sort of use of the 16 hours of off peak nuclear power?
