I'm very not interested in the Sonos software & ecosystem, but that they seemingly have pretty good local LAN control makes these devices extremely tempting (if significantly not cheap).
It's feels like it's getting harder and harder to find sound gear with Chromecast built in[1]. There's few new devices being added here, and quite a few of the links to existing devices are now 404 or just redirect to the manufacturer's site.
Maybe this is a badging thing, that now I need to be looking for Google Assistant devices or some such, but I'm not really sure if they'll all also be Chromecast audio targets or not. And I haven't found a good resource for seeing what's out there. I think there's more than 10 devices, but that's all Google lists[2]!
