Writing "But that next big moneymaker hasn’t materialized" seems a bit hard to believe. I am sure there are plenty of new innovations for industries that people just plain haven't thought of yet. So much of the last 20 years has effectively been based on just moving paper proceses to forms and databases. Hopefully whatever is next launches a new set of tech companies that can inject fresh ethics into the industry, but we'll see.
