Alas, pretty chalk-specific. You'll need something like the linked device for a whiteboard.


Modern cartography is awesome, but the mechanical/optical devices that were used before the advent of the computer are just as cool. And hand-drawn maps like the swiss topo maps are a work of art.

I am biased, though, my father used to work in photogrammetry, Kern was one of the companies he worked for. We had lots of nice maps, and I have still some things from Kern in use (just some low level stuff like magnifying glasses, compasses and pencils).
