They just looped. 0.9, 0.A, 0.B, etc.

0.F.3 but of course that doesn't vocalize well so "Frank 3".

Postgres rules though, so 0.B to 0.C was (potentially) breaking.




It's worth mentioning that Postgres no longer follows that rule. I just looked it up to see what you meant and after version 10 it does not apply
