To close the Star Trek - Amiga loop, Wil Wheaton worked for NewTek (Amiga video hardware/software company) as a tester then evangelist ("Toaster Punk") in the same timeframe.
The "shocking revelation" at the end is just the person who uploaded it gushing over how much they like Voyager and dislike the rest of Trek. Puts the rest into doubt. (Not for their taste in TV, but the unnecessary deception and wasting of time.)
That is one of the amazing things about programming. Not only do you have massive leverage but, the fact that all software really comes down to tool building.
It is amazing to see what a tool someone built has done. It is even more staggering when those tools can be reproduced almost infinitely for an extremely low cost.
We are wielding power that has taken generations to build, that only a few could have even dreamed of.
