This has been out for a couple years. It's kind of fun, but if you want to do more than one player it would get pricey. You need a switch per vehicle, and each vehicle costs $99.

I think there was a software update allowing multiple vehicles per switch. The Karts were on sale pretty significantly a couple months ago:
