What if there were a cryptocurrency that supported disputes? (efitz.net)

A blog post I wrote exploring the idea of dispute resolution support on blockchain-based cryptocurrencies.


My consulting company looked into a related idea- having escrow as a service, supporting a 3 party protocol, for a funder, a doer, and a manager- where two votes are needed to release funds either back to the funder or out to the doer. Our assessment was that it was way too early, but at some point it will be quite valuable to have these financial protocols- like disputes- available for parties to just use. Good luck!


I really like the escrow idea for high value transactions and for transactions where I'm unsure of any dispute resolution mechanism. That would work with blockchain as-is!
