As someone who has collected stamps all my life (20,000+ & counting. Oldest being ~100 years), there is a wealth of wisdom and good examples in this article.

Also I seem to have a few of these stamps, but the collection looks so great that I am envious of the owner if it all belongs to them :)


I really miss these kind of stuff. Nowadays we don't really have much to collect like we used to decades ago... well, I guess NFTs, achievements and... pokemons :D

I remember my grandfather giving me his huge collection of train cards (he worked in the railways), and I got a big notebook to glue them all and make my own train book.


Just yesterday I read in the local paper about a man a few towns away who owns about 400.000 Yu-Gi-Oh cards. That seems a tad excessive.
