The idea of future music albums being written in Javascript gave me a good laugh.

Generative AI art is just the beginning. Programming is seeping into the creative world, not just art.

The "just learn to program" meme will only grow more and more real I suspect.



I wish the damn game engines did this instead of playing some random-ass music in the background and in a way that tied with whatever it is you were looking at, in addition to adding reverb and whatever based on the geometry of the scene. A lot of effort goes into graphics, but man, so much untapped potential on the sound of things.


There’s a couple popular game engine audio plugins which have this reverb feature and similar synth / sampler modules available for 3d event-based programming. Checkout Wwise and FMOD.

Agreed it would be nice to see more dev effort on this side of the house.
