I've never, ever used anything with a Widevine CDM in it and deliberately tell FF to not play it (and delete the binary in Chrome, or use Chromium).

Stop supporting DRM. It's normalised. It shouldn't be. I've never knowingly bought DRM'd media.




I have Firefox configured to not play DRM content unless explicitly allowed, which means it shows a permission infobar each time a site tries to use it.

The number of sites that do it without having a good reason to, likely for fingerprinting purposes, are astonishing.


What non-DRM video have you bought, if any?
