Anyway the issue is not the protocols, is full of well done protocols, the issue are the users. Mastodon to me seems to be the best suitable to “integrate” twitter, also because of its decentralized servers, I mean that for example the Europe/USA parliaments can use their own istances, and not rely on Twitter. And this looks like what those institutions want to do in the future.


True that. A network is its users. What intrigues me about Nostr is its adaptability. The Twitter replacement is being touted but it also holds the possibility of creating new secure messaging apps. It could undermine FB Messenger a bit with the right app and evangelizing.

I think we are past the idea and experimentation phase to know that putting social networks on the blockchain is an extremely bad idea to begin with.
