I think it’s about journalists trying to keep the live location thing going which Twitter tos was updated to ban (reporting someone’s live location on Twitter is considered doxing)

This might be the first post in this thread stating the alleged actual reason for the bans: they posted screenshots of the location tracking or linked to the Mastodon tracker account, breaking the rule against sharing real-time locations. That's the claim at least. Twitter is Musk now. Since he wants 100% of the credit he deserves 100% of the blame, even if it was mostly other people’s money.
