I'm perfectly willing to believe in the zoonotic origin, but it's increasingly difficult to do so when proponents of it don't even begin to recognise the gigantic set of circumstantial evidence against this hypothesis and just hand wave about how all the experts agree.
My understanding of the zoonotic origin is that a mystery rural visitor transmitted it to Wuhan residents and then it vanished at the original location. I'm not saying it isn't true, but it is conveniently difficult to disprove.
