No.

Those are not digital goods being purchased. That's where Apple would step in.


Wouldn't a better comparison be 30% of the add-on fees that a bank charged you for a bank transfer? And that does seem like something they would expect if it were paid via the app.


Or possibly any extra fees eBay charges on a purchase.


FWIW, I am both and I am not irate. Mostly because I think it’s reasonable to give Apple some time to respond here.


They've had a decade to respond. The response is "we can get away with it, you don't have any leverage"


I've rarely seen Apple respond by releasing a public statement. The most you get is a low-key "oh your app passes the review now".
