Woah, not everything in life needs to be productive or measured in terms of production. Contributions don't necessarily mean something productive, don't you enjoy music? Or any kind of arts or humanities?
It's such a narrow and sad worldview to judge everything against how productive or functional it is, I believe being a human and being alive is a little more than just producing bullshit...
You're right I agree but I would say this is only marginally better than someone trudging along the sidewalk with their shopping cart and odd assembly of random things living life on the periphery. In other words I don't see this having more merit than the random person's display of worldly possessions in a shopping cart.
aren't doesn't need to have a utility but the weird thing to me about sustainability art is - is it suggesting utility? is it a nod to a possible utility? it reeks of aesthetics of improbable utility
