Lots of buzzwords in there and I'm not sure an offline-mode with devices communicating with each other is what "edge" in cloud computing refers to but whatever. Sounds like they built a cool app that removes paper from the process.
At work we've been using Zebra handhelds for years to do daily checks on our fleet of trucks, trailers, forklifts, pallet trucks, etc. Didn't think we were IOT pioneers , hell our terminal has been discontinued for 2 years.
I can only imagine that, like me, the HN crowd might be extremely quick to dismiss something which on the surface sure sounds like an enterprise "To-do" app, but I'm curious if things like the reliance on P2P communication between devices, mesh networks, etc., perhaps help deal with some interesting edge cases in the aviation space that I'm not terribly familiar with.
