Tell HN: Archive.ubuntu.com repositories appear to be down

apt-get update has started failing for me today. Affected hostnames are, at least, archive.ubuntu.com and ppa.launchpad.net.

This is an example URL that times out for me:

curl -i https://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal/InRelease

Checking with netcat:

Seems like it's https related, the non-secure, port 80 version works -- http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal/
