I'm gonna Karnak this and claim that nothing changes. He'll get bored and leave it to someone else, just like a lot of his abandoned projects, and in a year, we'll forget he owns it. Place yer bets.

My bet is he will charge people for blue checks

You win! Apparently the price is going up from $4.99 to $20. I didn't even know you had to pay for a blue check already.

There is a very good chance the class of $44B successful investors will go on to grow and thrive with the coming of climate change and the untapped potential of Africa and Antartica landmass. The next round of $4B successful investments rises to $4T, assuming $40B turn out to be failures. Hard to believe the cash Apple shovels into their car effort and there has been nothing to show for it after 10 or 5 years. Maybe the Twit alumni will back 7 kinds of biodomes on Earth's surface for colonizing Mars, constructed by Tesla Optimus bots.

I wonder how many of Twitter's bus factors are about to exit in this upcoming purge. Beyond that I wonder how long it will take before Twitter suffers the fate of Parler, where wanton failures in moderation resulted in them losing their infra vendor.

> putting the world’s richest man in charge of the struggling social network

So he spent $44,000,000,000 and is still the richest man in the world?

Well he didn't burn 44B, twitter market value is 44B right now because someone just bought it for 44B,

leveraged

Must be a weird time to work at Twitter.

If you were top management, it stopped being one tonight.

I still wont use twitter.

now lets hope, he take's twitter and it's code open source. zero expectation's though would be fun to watch where this goes.

Are you doing that with the apostrophes on purpose? Apostrophes don't mean "here comes an S".

This is far funnier than it reads, bravo

Sweet! Now twitter at least has a chance of not being a cesspool of far left group think.
