I wish CXL 2.0 excited me but it doesnt. It's still a tree of peripherals attached to a computer.

3.0 is where we get switches & fabric. Most of the marketting shows devices woth multiple virtual functions & those VFs attached to different boxes. I really really hope we see some box to box traffic too, but Im so not counting on it: hists exposing CXL.mem of themselves for others.
