When I come around to bash social media for using dopey tactics to discuss quantum theory, I have to remind myself that the exact video that inspired a decade long self-propelled fantasy through multiple QM textbooks (and all the miserable diff-eq stats and linear algebra that comes with it) is still available on YouTube:

That being said, seems like there’s a lot of difference between a cartoon character explaining the double slit experiment to a high schooler, and a second hand interpretation of Nobel prize results. In terms of inspiring earnest study of QM? Hey, you never know.


The irony that in age of the internet it's the superstitions and the mysticism that spreads because they are intuitive, easy to understand.
