Hedy: A Gradual Programming Language (youtube.com)

I really like her gradual introduction of syntax in exchange for expressiveness. I've never thought of it that way. It seems like a very powerful teaching method to get anyone up to speed in programming. The way it smooths the learning curve does seem to be something that will especially help those with self confidence issues.

I'll try to incorporate the lessons learned here in my future programming language efforts.

One thing that she mentioned towards the end, the idea of programming with the keywords for python in native languages... I think it's a hard, but awesome idea!

I got grumpy with the switch to Unicode... and I might grumble a bit with other words in the source, but why not support native keywords?
