I went from an iPhone 12 mini to S22 Ultra. The battery difference is obviously huge but from my experience iPhones seems to deteriate very fast. They are fine the first year but after that it never even completes a complete day without a charge.
I haven't had the same issues with android brands like Samsung even if of course the battery gets worse over time, it is nothing like iPhone.
