How much of this is implemented right now? Looks like it’s just a pitch page to get email signups. Some features, like cross platform + fast performance, or offline mode + real time collaboration, are quite complex. It’s easy to say these things will be accomplished but quite different to actually accomplish all of this in a usable application. If you are the only developer, this is years worth of full-time work.
I'm building an app with the best of Notion and Obsidian together. Performance, SEO and privacy will be some of our main features. What would you like the tool to have?
Speed. I complained about this earlier today, but I had to give up using Notion and Evernote because they took so much time to get to a point where I could quickly add my notes.
As for Obsidian, I would love to be able to have automatic backlinks, so that I can mention a page without filling it out and then see every place I have linked to it. E.g I can check my diary for each time I have mentioned a specific person, place, etc.
If we are going more wild, then maybe also have tags for specific things, so I can put in a contact or something and find all the places I mentioned that person.
Maybe extend that to the ability to mention todos in the middle of the text, so that if I am taking notes/planing a project I can jot down things I need/want to do in the future and then I can see them in some overview.
There are so many things that becomes possible when start treating things like information, rather than a really fancy printed page with undo and search.
