Soldered RAM isn’t just to be difficult. It has genuine performance & power consumption advantages for DDR4/DDR5/LPDDR4/LPDDR5.

Yeah, LPDDR sockets don’t even exist. Machines that use this type of RAM have to solder it, there’s no other choice.
