Ah yes, fixing the mistakes of our chemical experiments with more chemical experiments.

Sulphur dioxide is a toxic gas. Wikipedia says "Sulfur dioxide is a major air pollutant and has significant impacts upon human health."


The exact same plan appears in Neal Stephenson's recent climate scifi Termination Shock, but executed by a archetypical tech billionaire. title itself refers to the catastrophe unleashed by terminating sulfur emissions.
