It's pretty creepy how much info is out there on each of us, by default.



Thank you for this. It is really creepy to see all that information public. It even had my phone number listed.


I did this and they did remove my information, but it showed back up some months later. Spokeo and Pipl did the same.

I think all you're really doing is confirming your PII and providing additional tracking information to them.


I think this is what happened today. I okayed a single $9 or a $10 to check any information last week. Then they put an unauthorized charge of 68 USD today on my card. This is so frustrating. Now it feels like by telling people to go a get information removed they just trapped more people.


Does anyone know how they source their data? Half the stuff published about relatives is not even on LexisNexus...
