My understanding is that China doesn't have an effective Covid vaccine, thus has to resort to Covid-Zero policies to try to contain infections. This means that most of the Chinese population has no natural immunity, nor will they ever have it. I don't see how this can end well.


That’s not true, nearly 90% of its population has been immunised. The problem is resistance to getting vaccinated from its elderly population [1]

I agree that is part of the issue, but not the whole. Efficacy is a problem with China's domestic product.[1]
