"Adding features" is not synonymous with "improving". With the absolutely abysmal state of the USB specs right now, a more useful "improvement" would be the removal of little-used features, refactoring of the specs to make them easier to understand and implement, and completely redoing the naming scheme.
To all the cry babies: why don't you stop whining and propose and standard instead? It's a free world. Instead you armchair babies just cry about everything.
