What are you going on about? He gave perfectly reasonable advice that many consider a best practice. Hacker News is not the place to act personally attacked and offended over such simple shit.
The commenter "novok" admitted in another reply, which was apparently flagged, that he knows me and has been following me on Twitter for years, and proceeded to give me even more unsolicited life advice. It was all very much directed at me personally.
