The only concrete issue they raise is that apparently asking Saudi people with English as a second language what pronouns they use is somehow discriminatory towards them? And that is bad, because they care about that diversity, which isn't 'woke' but don't care about other diversity, which is 'woke'.
Is there some flowchart that outlines which diversity they like? Could be a very confusing conversation otherwise.
They can do that and I would do the same if discussions about a pronoun would hinder work.
While everyone can add their pronouns to whatever status they want, besides internet discussions this had 0 impact in my real life.
And I wrote it somewhere else already: for the real impact this topic has and daily discussion it is too much.
I would prefer to talk about female rights and equality and and not about a pronoun and not about trans gender female compete in female sports.
For me this weird super woke discussion which just has nothing to do with my real life leads me to believe that I would prefer to tolerate people who would talk like this in comparison to collaborate with them.
The movement towards "no prosecution" prosecutors (Read: Chesa Boudin) seems to be exported already though. A few latin american countries are horrified about it, since they are beset by major crime already.
