Five to eight miles per hour is not walking. Those are jogging/running speeds. The article is useless and I wonder if it was AI generated.

The cited US HHS reference gives: "Walking briskly (2.5 miles per hour or faster)".

Could also be a miles per hour/kilometers per hour mixup. 5 to 8 kilometers per hour are doable for brisk walking.

That’s a possibility. It was hard for me to get past “5 to 8 miles per hour”. Of course that pace is a cardio workout!
