I rooted my phone to rid it of this sort of crapware to increase the phones security and now my superfunds app latest upgrade refuses to work because my phone is rooted. Oh the irony..


There doesn't seem to be a good solution for this. You could use an AOSP custom ROM and not root it, meaning safetynet is still intact. You're free of all the third-party apps, but now you need to trust whoever made your custom ROM.


It should be possible to write a shim spoofing any checks per application.
