Why do you want to tag a location on a post if you don't want to also just have the app automatically get your current location which usually is the location that most users would be tagging anyway in a tweet?
I always post after an event, not during. "Usually" does imply not always, right? Instagram and other apps have managed to allow tagging locations without having access to your current location, just curious about why Twitter is unable to do so. Appreciate the advice though.
Twitter definitely used to allow you to enter a city, for example. I believe they pulled it after 99% of its type-in use case was for "near you" spammers.
