You can also attack the problem from he other end. I discovered Metamucil a couple of years ago. I hardly even use TP anymore .. every things comes clean .. one quick wipe.

Americans (both North and South) are barbarians in the #2 hygiene department compared to many of our Japanese and European neighbors.
Is it due to a predominance of homophobic "butthole-attention=bad/gay" mentality?
Or because bathrooms and construction in general are expensive and people prefer reaching behind to dig around blindly? Not my cup of tea, though I sure do miss the nice Toto bidet toilets throughout portions of Europe.
