Note that there is a portion of Medicare recipients who would dispute that it is socialized medicine or that it’s even government run. Perhaps they feel that the monthly copayment/taxes paid for the various portions are it’s entire funding? Perhaps its just cognitive dissonance (Medicare good, govt bad?). Does it matter why?
