The title is misleading. He was under house arrest with an ankle monitor for the majority of his “prison” sentence.

Drug laws are severe in Russia. I’d double check my inventory before flying if I had a slightest chance to make a finding like that. Considering this, “semi-forgotten” sounded funny. A local probably wouldn’t get off so easy.
