Not really "unjust" here. It was unofficial, popped up right as the war began, violated Geneva conventions multiple times, and posted a bunch of questionable content over its lifetime.

I'm 100% on Ukraine's side, don't get me wrong. But this account wasn't official and their content could actually hurt Ukraine come time for the ICJ trials.

I was actually trying to find a word other than unjust. Considered unduly but it also didn’t seem correct. My vocabulary is sadly lacking lately due to some intense brain fog.

It’s just strange that we’ve been seeing much worse from prominent RU propaganda accounts & even RU gov officials & embassy workers with zero repercussions. The Ukr account definitely had issues but it was otherwise decent/reliable information & aggregation.

Honestly, aside from maybe blatantly incorrect & misleading propaganda by RU officials & such that are inciting extreme hatred, I think everything regarding this war should stay up. Disclaimers & sensitivity spoiler alerts if Twitter so pleases, but not entirely suspending an account to the point past posts can’t even be viewed.

I would wager this is in response to the announcement that Twitter would be complying with international law and removing accounts that violate the "no POW" rules. This account violated those several times, whereas many Russian propaganda accounts have not.

Speculating, but that might be what's happening.

You mean like twitter had "hacked materials" policy that banned spreading stories about Hunter's laptop (which wasn't hacked) but nothing else, including materials that did result from hacks? That kind of policies?

Twitter did not invent the Geneva convention so, no.

They did invent their "standards", which they apply randomly and capriciously to suppress speech of people they don't like, while ignoring the same from people they feel more to their liking.
