For those who don't watch the markets, check out triquant (NASDAQ:TQNT) http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=TQNT

The rally seems to stem from the fact that iPhone 4S uses some triquant chips

Haven't all iPhones used TriQuant amplifiers?

I hope they teardown camera assembly also and give some details on new Apple designed optics.

I'm hoping for a review from a real photographer's site.

Sorry, I missed the up arrow and voted you down by mistake. I'd love to see such a review as well.

So, How much memory is inside?

I didn't see anything on the memory specs on the teardown :S

512MB - to retain battery life despite the new processor / chipset.

The standby time seems to have gone down over its predecessor nevertheless.

[Edit]

In the iFixit teardown article, step 8.

How 'bout a close-up of that Apple A5 chip. 1 GHz Dual-core processor with 512 MB of DDR2 RAM... Yowza.

How do we know it's 512 MB? Check out the marking, specifically E4E4, denoting two 2 Gb LPDDR2 die—for a total of 4 Gb—or 512 MB.

I believe Gruber said it still has 512MB.

Gruber is basing that on something mentioned by id when they were talking about the 4S, and mentioned the 512MB mark.

It was actually Epic that said 512mb. The guys that created Infinity Blade. Not a big deal but figured it's something worth pointing out for people looking for more information.

Oops, you're right. That's what I meant :P

Geekbench has been run on it as well, and its results were indicative of 512 MB.

Edit: actually I may be incorrect about the Geekbench part; nevertheless, 512 MB is reported from a teardown: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4964/ifixit-iphone-4s-teardown...
