This is kind of perfect though, even from a pacifist POV.

The crew probably got off alive (mostly). A vessel built only for killing, was sunk.

I agree it's not good to revel in bodycounts, but equipment-count... really nothing wrong with being happy about this one.



I’ve read that Turkish vessel took only 75 evacuated persons, while sunk ship had crew of approx 500.


We'll see (hopefully). They had a lot of time evacuate, and a lot of friendly ships in he area.


The waste was in its construction. I am not lamenting removing it from the service of killing.


Its construction employed lots of people. I’m sure they appreciated the income.


In ideal world they would produce something else.
