YouTube app on Apple TV presented me with a dialog to click to update the app because the connection had been lost. Halfway through a video, no less. Of course the button didn’t do anything at all. Not sure where it was supposed to lead.

Same for me, the sidebar nor the account menu do not load, it also looks like the website is stuck in the mobile mode even though I'm on desktop.

Talk about synchronicity. I was just trying to get my YouTube side bar to load on my Apple TV.

The biggest problem for me is bad recommending system. There is a random-casting button which generates main page with "categories I have never interested in" (not clear wording, that happens maybe 1 time of 100 visits), and after pressing it the number of clickbait gets surprisingly low and that's how I have found several really interesting channels with less then 1k subscribers. The problem is how to get this button for 100 of 100 visits of mine.
