i keep thinking of AMD buying ultra-dense hyper-converged SeaMicro them seemingly doing nothing eith the company. i'd had such hopes AMD was going to take it & roll with it, was hoping they'd disrupt the blade market with better convergence capabilities... feels like AWS keeps pulling ahead, iterating in Nitro, & the market is standing still. even though AMD acquired the capabilities about a decade ago.
it seems hard to leverage acquisitions well.
